Senior Pastor

As the son of a Southern Baptist minister, Pastor Brad spent his childhood in various churches across North Carolina. Due to the teaching and guidance given to him by his parents, Brad asked Jesus to be His Savior and Lord in 1980.  In 1993 he graduated from Mars Hill College with a degree in education and spent the next several years as a High School teacher.  Pastor Brad answered God’s call to the pastoral ministry in 1998 and enrolled in Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he has earned two postgraduate degrees.  Brad joined Edgewood in October of 2009 as the pastor after serving in churches in North Carolina and Florida.  Brad and his wife Amy have been married for sixteen years and are blessed with two children.
